LIVE CHAT AUCTION
On Sunday march 9, 2014 9:00pm showcattle time there will be a live chat auction where you can come and buy some good stock of any breed in one spot. There will be a limit of 3 head per consigned to sell the first night just to see how it goes and how long it lasts. There will also only be 20 containers allowed for the first night. No comments are to be made about the cattle from the bidders. Only the auctioneer should make comments. There will be cattle of any age being sold.

To consign to the sale make a comment with your cattle you are consigning below.

Can we have a starting price for our cattle we consign?

Nvr mind matty posted that as i was typing can we have 3 cattle and 3 embryo/ semen lots or just 3 lots overall?

For the 20 breeders that enter this first auction there will be 3 head sale

So the goal is to make this auction as simple as possible so we can see how everyone works together and figure out the bugs. Let's see how many consignors we have and if it's less than 60 head then go for it with semen lots and embryos more than 60 head we can do those another time. The thoughts are that we could have a weekly auction, with assigned breeds/day of the week. And other specialty auctions with embryos, semen lots, bulls or cows, etc. So yes we can do semen lots, if the total head count is less than 60. That is just to keep the time frame reasonable.
