Auction End Times

The simulation auctions have sniper protection in order to prevent users who bid at the last second from winning auctions due to dumb luck.  If there has been a bid on an animal in the past ten minutes, the auction will not close.  This allows all users waiting on the results to have a reasonable amount of time to place another bid if theirs is beaten in the last seconds of the sale.

Under this system an auction could theoretically go on forever if there are continual bids every ten minutes.

Please remember, if you bid the maximum you are willing to pay the proxy system will only use the amount that you need to win the auction.
